Podcast Studio Terms & Conditions
The Client and/or authorised representative submitting the Booking acknowledges and accepts Forensic Audio’s Terms and Conditions:
Booking Confirmation
A booking is considered confirmed when the Client or their representative has submitted the online booking and have paid for the session using the secure online checkout.
Cancellation
Confirmed sessions may be cancelled or rescheduled up to 24 hours prior to the session start time. A 50% cancellation fee will be applied where a booking is cancelled within 24 of the session start time.
Charges
Any person attending a session, or communicating with Forensic Audio on the Client’s behalf, are deemed to be authorised representatives of the Client. Forensic Audio is not liable for any costs or expenses incurred by the Client’s representatives during the course of or related to the use of the Podcast Studio.
The Podcast Studio is charged at a per-hour rate for the entire booked session time plus any additional equipment hire as specified on our Rates & Equipment page. Any additional charges incurred during the session will be paid by the Client.
Payment Terms
All online bookings are to be payed in full to complete the booking process. Sessions arranged outside of the online booking system will be invoiced with payment required in advance to confirm the session. Any additional charges incurred on the day of the session are to be paid on the day.
Our preferred payment method is by bank transfer, however payments can be accepted by credit card, EFTPOS, Afterpay and cash. Surcharges may apply to international bank transfers and credit card payments.
Refund Policy
Forensic Audio does not offer refunds.
Damage and Loss
The Client indemnifies Forensic Audio against all and any losses, damages or claims by third parties howsoever arising in respect of any loss or damage to any property including tapes, disks and media, corruption of data or computer systems and software, breach of intellectual property rights, personal injury or death, breach of contract or breach of law caused by an act or omission of the Client or its representatives.
Whilst every effort is made to ensure reasonable security, Forensic Audio accepts no liability for loss, theft or damage to Client property, equipment, tapes or recording/backup media whilst on our premises.
The Client is responsible for any damage or loss incurred to any equipment, fixtures and fittings in the Podcast Studio and any common areas during their use of the Podcast Studio. The Client will reimburse Forensic Audio for any replacement, repair and/or cleaning costs associated with this damage or loss.
System Requirements
All sessions in The Podcast Studio are recorded to the Client’s own computer system/laptop and data storage. It is the responsibility of the Client to ensure their computer and any peripherals are compatible and fit for purpose for their intended use. Forensic Audio does not offer any refunds where the Client’s computer and software are incompatible or have insufficient resources for their intended use on the day of the session.
Archiving
All sessions in The Podcast Studio are recorded to the Client’s own computer system/laptop, Micro SD Card and/or data storage. These are the sole responsibility of the Client. No backups or archives will be retained by Forensic Audio.
