Live Streaming & Podcast Studio in Perth, Western Australia
The Forensic Audio Live Streaming & Podcast Studio is located 3 kilometres from Perth City. The Podcast Studio offers a self-service creative space for podcasting, live streaming, voiceovers, vocal recording, editing and post-production. The original recording room has been home to breakthrough recordings from artists such as Bob Evans, The Kill Devil Hills, Sly Withers, Voyager, Umpire, Mukaizake, The Tucker B’s and many more. The studio has now been fully refurbished and is now open to podcasters, broadcasters, producers, streamers and content creators.
The Podcast Studio has been designed with a minimalist aesthetic and consists of two rooms. This includes a generous live recording room and a relaxed control room. The spaces have been designed to be as versatile as possible and can be configured to suit many different applications.
Live Recording Room
The live recording room has a custom self-contained podcast desk equipped with a RodeCaster Pro Podcast Console, Rode ProCaster dynamic microphones and Rode NTH-100 headphones. The Podcast Studio been designed to be a comfortable and creative space with smart lighting providing the perfect atmosphere. The acoustic design also allows the room to have a natural and open sound. Additionally, a range of microphones and studio equipment is also available for internal hire.
Control Room
The control room can be used for editing, live stream production and audio post-production using our Dynaudio monitors and Focusrite recording interface. This room also doubles as a relaxed green room where studio guests can listen while podcasts are being recorded and live streamed. When combined with the live room, the podcast studio can be used for recording voiceovers and vocals using our range of high-end analogue outboard equipment and microphones.
Live Streaming
Live Streaming has been seamlessly integrated into the Podcast Studio. This option includes use of the large green screen, allowing you to stream your podcast with your own unique background and branding, a Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K and our integrated professional video lighting and softboxes. The control room uses a Blackmagic ATEM Mini Pro live production stream switcher for hardware based live streaming and video switching. This allows you to simultaneously live stream and record video in full HD. The live stream can also be monitored and controlled from both rooms.
The studio can also be configured in many different ways to accomodate different live streaming and video productions, such as live or pre-recorded interviews, educational and corporate presentations, broadcasting and film productions. Please do not hesitate to contact us to discuss your project.
